何謂 實驗經濟學 & 經濟實驗

所謂「實驗經濟學」是指藉由用嚴謹的科學實驗來控制種種外在條件,以分析、瞭解人們在不同的條件下對決策行為的影響,實驗的結果用來檢定經濟理論是否成立(Smith, 1989)。
因為現實社會是很複雜的,我們很難確切的知道到底是那種因素造成經濟結果或是經濟行為,例如:影響消費者購買商品的原因,可能包括了消費者的所得、消費者的偏好以及商品本身的價格,所以想知道何者是左右消費者購買商品的主要原因,其實是件不容易的事。因此 Smith(1989)指出實驗遊戲的設計,主要是藉由控制影響經濟理論的三個要素:環境、制度及參與者行為,讓理論假設和實驗設計相符。
